Why Using Perscription Sleeping Pills can be Bad for Your Well being
September 29, 2009 by Tucker
There are just so many things today that leave us feeling stressed and tired. However, not everyone can do well from a proper nights sleep and for a lot of people they turn to a plethora of pills to help them sleep.
Although there are numerous sleeping pills which you can get through your doctor, a large majority of them do come with side effects, some of which could be totally very crippling to your health.
The variation of side effects can include such things as drowsiness, fatigue and dizziness. To the more extreme effects which in some cases lead to depression.
Another well known sleeping pill called Ambien also has a long list of Ambien side effects and Ambien is a trade name for Zolpidem, can lead to any one of the following:
* Anterograde amnesia
* Hallucinations , through all physical senses, of varying intensity
* Delusions
* Altered thought patterns
* Ataxia or poor motor coordination , difficulty maintaining balance
* Euphoria and/or dysphoria
* Increased appetite
* Increased libido
* Amnesia
* Impaired judgment and reasoning
* Increased impulsivity
* When stopped, rebound insomnia may occur
* Headaches, in some people
For example the Rozerem side effects in 2% of cases can lead to depression. People need to be careful if they already suffer from depression then sleeping pills like Rozerem should be off limits.
Other pills such as Lunesta, known as Eszopiclone, can result to things like unpleasant bitter or metallic taste, headaches, chest pain, cold-like symptoms, body pains, dry mouth, daytime drowsiness, lightheadedness, dizziness
It’s obvious with just a handfull of perscription pills covered in this post it’s clear to see that some of the estanlished pills can lead to lots of nasty side effects.
So are there any alternatives and what should you be considering.
There are more natural options to perscription pills and although in some cases they dont work as well as perscription pills, at least you’ll know there are no nasty effects waiting for you around the corner.

Anterograde amnesia
I have heard of people having this happen. When you get startled (or excited) the body will release some chemicals. The fight or flight kicks in. I would bet you money that you have a loose filling and that if you go to a dentist they will tell you the same.
Sleep #apnea and daytime drowsiness doubles risk of death for adults over 65, say Pennsylvania researchers
how about sleep?
Beth: When you place your tongue across the terminals of a 9V (square) battery, you'll get a small electric shock on your tongue (plus a metallic taste). It's unpleasant but not even particularly painful. I was taught to do this as a method for finding out if the battery was dead or not. It had never even occurred to me that it might be even slightly dangerous.

All you can do is wait till your period arrives. And so you don't go through is stressful stage every month, use birth control, okay?
Edit" Well you should have specified that!! Most people who post on here are scared of pregnancy.
