Well considering the majority of people on this site don't know the first thing about insurance law….

What is the insurance company telling you? I hope nothing as the adjusters, although educated in insurance law and/or hold law degrees, are not licensed attorneys and their job is not to advise you on the law. If you want legal advice then you need to get advice from a lawyer. In the Bay Area there are PLENTY of free legal clinics you can go for help, just look in the phone book or contact the law schools in your area.

As for your accident, unless you can prove the person that hit you is lying you're gonna have a hard time winning in small claims court. You carry the burden of proving the accident happened the way you say it happened and not any other way.

Before this administration took office via the "Supreme Court," I never had a worry about the US Government..I have seen Cheney running this country for the past 7 years, awarding Haliburton huge contracts time and time again. (Cheney has very big vested interests in Haliburton, but they are being held in a "Blind Trust"! (Yea, and I'm blind too). You have to stop and think…who stands to benefit by this administration's power? Shell, Exxon/Mobile, Haliburton, Blackwater, and the many other private military orgs, as well as many huge corporations that deal with energy (you DO remember Enron, don't you?). Now, if you were sitting on the board of any of these corporations, what would you do, as a greedy corporate lizzard were the idea that Clinton or Richardson might win and election and cut into their profits greatly? Would you, a God fearing greedy corporate person even consider collective pooling of huge amounts of money to hire the mercenaries to keep the rule in place? This is the stuff that thrillers are made of….certainly not very different than movies we have all seen. Unfortunately, the administration has been remarkably quiet lately…do they know something we do not know? Hmmmmmmmm
Now, if you do not hear from me for periods longer than a few days, think to yourself, where is Goldwing? What I have written here is enough to get me hauled from my house in the night, drug off to an unknown prison and held indefinently! Thanks to the Homeland Security Act, any of us are in that danger! AND, I can well be tortured to get any kind of confession they want from me, from you….from your children! Think very carefully in the next few days..if you are not writing your congressmen by now, there is something very wrong in the land of the "once was free." The FISA is before congress now…if this passes, trust me, you might as well throw the constitution out the window. IT strips us of our rights as individuals in the name of "security." Again, I am going to say this until you all have it memorized….IF you are willing to sacrifice your rights for security, it will not be long before you have neither!. If I sound scared, trust me, the tone is correct! IF you think I am nuts, trust me, you have not been reading farther than "do you remember this song." Everyone is standing around doing nothing but hiding their heads in the sand. I have written all my congressmen. But I am one voice in the mob…a mob that is NOT materializing! Where is the outrage we had over Viet Nam? Where have all the idealists gone…have we just worn out? I hope not…I certainly hope not. Phil Brandt (I write my full name so Homeland will not have to look that hard for me! )
