Want to lose weight without dieting?

January 10, 2009 by

Let me tell you right now, I hate to diet. Always have.

When I was in my twenties, I kind of ballooned up a bit. When I started college, I found the dining hall, with all-you-can-eat everything available, was one of my favorite places to be, especially since I didn’t know anyone, and I was struggling with my classes.

I lost the weight later, but in other rough patches during my twenties, my weight would balloon up again. I was on a roller coaster. No fun.

I read a book back then, called something like the “I Hate to Diet” book. It has since gone out of print — I’ve looked for it over the years, but have never been able to find it again, even when Amazon.com and Google came around. So, basically, I re-wrote it, using the methods the original author talked about, and expounding on what I had learned over the years.

Since I read that book and applied her methods back in my mid-twenties, I have not had a weight problem, and it’s been about 30 years since I started applying her methods.

And what are her methods? They’re VERY simple. The first is: Eat whatever you want. Yes, that’s the first rule.

There’s only one other rule, and, trust me, it’s every bit as simple as the first. But you’ll still lose weight without dieting, without taking pills or putting on patches, without starving.

I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true. I am living proof. I feel great, I’m slender and full of energy, and I never, ever diet. Happy NON-dieting!

    Hi Elmar,

A nice coincidence that we were thinking about basically the same thing at the same time:-

Can it ~really~ be true that all these marginalia were (basically) added by the original author? How things have changed since 2006! =:-o

    Cheers, ….Nick Pelling….

It's the same title by William Goldman – you may find very many 'editions' published by others and with different illustrations. The original publisher is Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. Just make sure the author is William Goldman.

As far as I know you can't simply move your website to Blogger or another type of website, you can change the domain name. But if you want to move your site to Blogger your going to have to save your content and repost it on Blogger
