Used Cell Phones

Cell phones are such a huge, competitive business these days, that opportunities to save money are presenting themselves in many ways. Throw in the internet, and sites like abay, and you’ve really got a great way to save lots of money.
One of the most effective ways for cell phone companies to entice people to sign up for long-term contracts is to offer them a free or very cheap phone as incentive. There is no trade-in like with a car. This means that there a literally tons of perfectly good left-over phones out there. And these days, who wants to hold on to as asset like that when you can turn it into some cash on ebay?
Since so many people are putting their used cell phones up for sale on ebay, the prices stay low. There are so many expiring auctions every hour or so that you can take aim at the good deals. You can get a really nice used cell phone for some super-cheap prices. It’s a great way to test out particular phone that you’ve had your eye one, or to continue with a cell phone company without having to sign up for a new two-year contract.
Want to test out a Blackberry? Get one for less that 50 bucks on ebay, and you can see if you really like checking your email every five minutes no matter where you are. Personally, I like to get away from my email inbox when I’m out of the house. But then again, I work at a computer all day, so I’m relieved to take a break from email.
Or maybe you have buyer’s remorse over the phone you chose when you signed that new 2-year contract with Verizon last month, Well, why not go and find a used cell phone – the one you really want on ebay, and then sell yours? You might even make some money in the process.
It doesn’t matter which cell phone provider you are with – Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, Alltel, even Cricket or a smaller cell phone provider like Metro PCS. The vast market created by ebay makes it easy to find the phone of your choice no matter who your cell phone provider is. And ebay’s rating system can protect you from dealing with a shady character. There really is very little risk involved.
So go to the mall and do your cell phone shopping there, and then go to this used cell phones outlet to pay a fraction of the cost. There are many people, particularly women, who take impeccable care of their cell phones. My wife, For instance, never gets a scratch on hers. I envy the person who buys her cell phone – they’re getting a good one.
Buying and selling used cell phones basically makes them disposable. They’re so cheap to buy and sell that you can try out several different ones until you find the one you like. And you’ll be contributing to the economy!

AT&T’s Buzz (not to be confused with Google Buzz or Yahoo! Buzz) was officially launched today, after getting its initial teaser announcement in January. Buzz.com (as we’ll be calling it to differentiate it from the other Buzzes) attempts to leverage AT&T’s vast Yellow Pages database, subscriber pool, and large wireless network in order to create a money-making, location-based, social search tool similar to Yelp or the recently renamed Google Places. The service, with which you can now register using Facebook Connect, pulls in recommendations and brief comments from your friends about businesses near you. In a sense, Buzz.com seems to be something more like Citysearch than Yelp, offering not only restaurant reviews, but also recommendations for businesses — including dentists (as noted in the eye-roll-worthy video below). Oh oh :0 Are cell phones and WiFi bad for ya health
No. I've never bought a cell phone or felt a need for one. I'm more than satisfied with my quality of life. Instead of having a cell phone for emergency use, I just prepare for the activities I plan to do and any eventualities that may result.
