How To Reduce Your Car Insurance Premium
You can still reduce the amount you pay on your monthly car insurance premiums, even if you’re not comfortable with switching to a different car insurance company, by renegotiating with your current provider. You should upgrade the security features of your car before you start to renegotiate.
If you ensure that your car is safe from theft, you can lower your monthly car insurance premiums considerably. If your car is relatively new, you won’t have any problems since most new cars already have anti-theft devices. If you have an older car, conversely, you should consider installing in anti-theft device in your car.
You can also reduce your monthly car insurance premiums by reducing the number of miles you drive. If your car mileage is low, car insurance companies will be much more likely to offer you cheap car insurance premiums. One good way to lower your mileage driven is to double-check the route you take to work each day. Then simply take the shortest route possible. Taking the shortest route will also save on money spent on gasoline, as well as reducing your monthly insurance premium.

Yes, they will likely rise. Most companies will not allow you to delete someone from your policy if they are still living with you, unless they have their OWN car policy. I'm all about the frugal lifestyle here in Hawaii. For me it really hit home about a year ago when out of work and without health insurance I was struck down with a neck injury that really took me down for a while. The bills mounted and continue to mount. I'm back in school for teaching certifications and still haven't found much work income. Starting a garden and monitoring car mileage has been a big help. Community is a big part of frugal living as well. I've discovered a community garden project near me and offer my support. It's a great networking opportunity for like minded individuals. It's important to “come pono” from an intentional point of view for all we do in life. Like Husserl says; “intentionality is the hallmark of consciousness”
Check car insurance cover, rugby fans told
Fans heading to France for the kick off of the Rugby
World Cup need to ensure their
car insurance policies are up-to-date before they hit the road, the
Association of British Insurers (ABI) has warned.
According to the ABI, anyone
travelling across the channel to France needs to check that their policies cover them for the entire duration of their stay in the country.
“Check your
insurance to see whether or not
the level of your UK cover extends to cover you in France,” a spokesperson for the ABI said.
“What you will be covered for is the minimum legal requirement in France, so if you
drive to France and don't tell
your insurer, you're not breaking
the law.
“But you may not be covered if your vehicle is stolen and you may not be covered if you're involved in an accident and you need to get it repaired,” they added.
ABI also warned motorists to ensure they are covered in the event of an
accident or theft while travelling to matches.
Foreign and Commonwealth Office statistics show drive driving is also a potential accident risk when abroad. Over 40 per cent of people admitted drinking 'much more' when on holiday than they usually do at home.
