And they may not have a defensive coordinator until the day after the Super Bowl, at the earliest. Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com believes that the Eagles are waiting for a guy who’s still coaching — and that the guy for whom they’re waiting is Packers safeties coach Darren Perry. In fact, Frank thinks the deal may already be done. If Perry’s still under contract, the Packers could block the move. But if the Packers are willing to let Perry leave — and if they’ve also permitted Perry to work out a deal with the Eagles while Green Bay’s season still was unfolding — then Perry could get the job quickly. The Packers don’t have a defensive backs coach per se; Perry handles the safeties and Joe Whitt, Jr. coaches the cornerbacks. A man on the street walked up to me and grabbed my shoulder and said "Can I ask you a question? Who do you think Jesus is?" My family looked at me with a broad degree of shock as the 6 foot scruffy man loomed over me. I replied "I KNOW who Jesus is." As I tried walking away, he grabbed my arm with ire, I turned to see his face pinched with anger. He was judging me with his eyes. Not saying this is the way Christians normally 'recruit' others. Sometimes it's done with an overbearing level of niceness and harmony which many interpret as a facade, which it is. And this turns off many to Christianity. Be real. Be SANE (I love that Penn used that word). Don't feel under attack when someone is not eating off your spoon. Generally speaking. Reminds me of the time I was at Tempe Town Lake for July 4.
