If you can believe it, there are more than a hundred types of cancer – it is just that we get bombarded with the kinds that are most common. These more known cancer types include breast, lung, colon, and prostate. Aside from these, you may have heard about other types such as brain (tumors), bladder, cervical, endometrial, esophageal, head and neck, kidney, leukemia, and lymphoma.

Others however literally have no clear ideas on what exactly are these kinds of debilitating diseases. Cancer is a condition that occurs when damaged cells in any part of the body reproduce at a rapid rate. Normally, cells would grow, divide, and then die in a particular time frame. When a body is young, cells usually reproduce faster. As the body grows older, this slows down and typically just happens when a cell dies or when the body suffers from injuries.

Cancer cells however, have a process of their own: the cells become damaged because of the damage that stems from the DNA they contain. DNA damage can be cause by reasons that we all know – lifestyles. Smoking, a bad diet, pollution – these are just some of the factors that can damage DNA. The bad news though, is that cancer cells can also be caused by reasons as of yet unknown. Even people who live in a healthy fashion can suffer from cancer too.

They just keep on reproducing and since these cells are abnormal, the cells they produce are abnormal as well. Because of the rapid rate that these damaged cells reproduce, they tend to spread to other tissues and damage the cells there as well. 10 Steps to Reduce Back Pain

STEP 1 – Have a Medical Examination

Check out the possibility that your back problems are caused by poor posture, excess body weight, everyday stresses, and common causes such as these. However if you suffer from chronic back pain then it may be caused by a serious condition such as slipped or herniated disks, fibromyalgia, injuries to the neck or spine, and very rarely, other conditions such as cancer, kidney infection, and so on. Once you know what you’re dealing with then you are in a position to seek the correct remedies.

STEP 2 – Prevention

If you’ve already damaged your back you can’t go back in time and remedy it but not irritating those injuries further is very important. Be careful with daily activities like lifting, whether it’s something at work or your children and groceries, and jarring such as when you brake hard while driving. Make sure you have an ergonomic workstation at work and don’t remain in one position too long, and be selective with your exercises at the gym. Get advice from a gym instructor.

STEP 3 – Watch Your Posture

Don’t slouch or drape yourself over your desk or remain in one postion too long. Practice good posture both in your car and at home and work.

STEP 4 – Stretch Those Muscles

If you don’t use muscles they wither away and become weaker. Weaker muscles don’t provide the support the body requires and this is a recipe for damaging your back. Try some stretching exercises to get oxygen into your body and improve circulation while toning the muscles. Try to find some time first thing in the morning or before you go to bed.

STEP 5 – Relaxation

Stress can lead to tense muscles which in turn lead to a sore neck, shoulders, headaches, and even neck and back pain. Attack the source of the stress and try yoga, meditation or other relaxation methods.

STEP 6 – Exercise

Inactivity causes problems as we mentioned in step 4 so it’s important to get some exercise. Walking, biking and swimming are all  good exercises, or you can use an elliptical machine at your gym.  Anything that gets you active without putting strain on your back should be sufficient.

STEP 7 – Lose Weight

If you’re overweight then you’re putting extra strain on your body that it wasn’t designed for and creating long term health problems. As well as creating extra strain for your heart and wear on joints, you are also risking damage to your back. Make healthy eating and exercise a priority.

STEP 8 – Home Remedies

Try a heating pad or hot water bottle, use a recliner to invert, take a hot shower or hot bath, practice some yoga, and try other home remedies. As a one-off they may help reduce pain and longer term use they can help the body to heal.

STEP 9 – Massage

A good massage can reduce the discomfort of back pain, but be sure to advise the masseuse of your problems. If it’s available try a hot stone massage as well.  The hot stones can improve the blood circulation and help your back muscles relax.

STEP 10 – Try Everything

One thing on its own may not be the solution but the incremental improvements created by trying multiple remedies may produce the relief from back pain you are seeking. If necessary talk to your doctor about medications or other treatment options. Sometimes taking medications can be the only way to get short term relief from chronic and consistent pain. Things You Need To Know To Effectively Gain Muscles

Well, you have to remember that just lifting weights in the gym is not enough for you to gain muscles. You have another exercise program is suitable for people to forget that not everything. If you want to gain muscle mass, then you have to do body building exercises. With body-building routines, there will be a sequence of workouts one day and a unique one on the following day. When you damage your muscles, it’s adding more muscle tissue to repair those injuries.

Also, for the muscles to mend themselves, they require a rest period. A diet high in protein helps build stronger new muscle cells quickly. This is exercises for building muscle mass have intervals when it comes to exercising each muscle group. Each group of muscles must be given time to heal before trying to work them out. Best results will be obtained by performing all the exercises specifically mentioned for each muscle group. Besides, you can’t expect to have a great looking biceps, triceps or chest if the back can’t support it. You also need to exercise your back in order for you to develop the chest, biceps, and triceps. Also, you have to exercise the shoulders in order for you to develop your arms. Everything is connected. These are the things that you have to remember about body building or muscle gain. Always remember that resting is very important. Allow the muscles you exercised today to rest for two days. Get enough sleep and eat foods with high protein content and you will be able to gain muscle in no time at all.

Manchester United moving ahead in Japan, but might Liverpool forge ahead when they are away.

The English premier league is hotting up with Liverpool looking to bolster their lead by over coming Arsenal in the coming match and moving ahead by 4 points. With Manchester United away in Japan for the Club World Cup, Liverpool can get ahead of their old rivals.

Obviously Manchester United and Liverpool will both be hoping that none of their paraguard stretchered off. As because of the price these players are bought and sold for the final thing you want is a player lying on the grass on their paraguard stretcher with months of physio and rehabilitation reports to return them to health.

Manchester United is particularly aware in this section with Saha at the moment sporting a hamstring injury which he received in Everton’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham in November – the same game in which top scorer Yakubu damaged his Achilles, an accident that will take the striker out until the summertime.

Aston Villa seem to be looking to break the monopoly of 4 on top places in the Premier League. Strength throughout the team might prove an issue further on in the battle for Villa and it’s vital the English duo of Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Young, who have to date achieved 17 goals between them this season, remain injury free.

As Manchester United are away in Japan I am sure Alex Ferguson will be having some sleepless nights praying the club will get through unscathed. The huge pressure put onto players and managers frequently just builds stress which is then passed through to how they play, you can see this in injuries such as Groin strain, hamstring injuries etc which is just a sign that the player is pushing to hard.
