Several Secrets for Choosing A Professional Hawaii Wedding Planner

January 29, 2010 by

You are getting married in paradise! How exciting! There’s one very important task ahead of you now. You will want to select an awesome Maui wedding planner to pull together all of the details of your coming special day. Let me make a few suggestions.

First, take a close look at the company’s website. If it is not organized and to the point, the chances are that her services will be similar. Make sure you feel good about the way the company presents itself.

Second, when you call do you get a real person or an answer machine when you call the Maui wedding coordinator? A part time coordinator will likely use voice mail a lot. If the wedding planner works hard on her business, she will likely be more readily available for you.

Third, you want a planner who is reasonably personal on the telephone. If a coordinator does not treat you well on the phone, that might be a bad sign for how things will later go at your wedding.

Fourth, is the wedding planner organized? Does she follow up on your requests? If not, this could be a bad sign for how things will go later at your wedding.

Fifth, is the planner knowledgeable about doing weddings on the island of Maui. This is very important because you probably don’t want to have a beginner coordinating your wedding.

Sixth, make sure that the planner has cost effective Hawaii wedding packages that you can use to choose inexpensive services.

Seventh, select a wedding planner who has a good understanding of the best natural wedding sites. Choosing a great Maui wedding beach is something that a good coordinator has experience doing. She should direct you to the best beaches and have reasons why they are the best.

Getting married in paradise is one of the best decisions you can make to start your new lives right. A romantic Maui wedding is something you will both treasure for a lifetime.

Sales Coordinator – Great Venue Location: London We have a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Coordinator to join an Events Contract Caterer based at a central London Private Member s Club. The venue has a number of conference and banqueting rooms where they host conferences, receptions, dinners and parties with a mix of corporate and private clients. The role reports into the Sales Manager, working alongside ONE other part time coordinator and will involve a mix of proactive and reactive sales, dealing with clients from the enquiry stage, site visits and discussing detail for their events. We need a self …

NORV has shown he is a good coordinator and a lousy head coach. He really did wonders with Alex Smith and Frank Gore this year. I'd like to see him hired as offensive coordinator for the Chargers. I don't know what that leaves at head coach. I REALLY like Rex Ryan, but if you make him head coach, he's essentially going to also be handling the defense. So then who becomes defensive coordinator? Perhaps a guy like Singletary who is willing to defer to Ryan to assist and manage the defense? But yes, NORV as head coach will be a disaster.

i feel your pain! lol i run my own massage business from a gym and sometimes feel the crunch of a slow day. here are a few things i do to drum up business:

when it's slow, ask the techs (if you force them to do it, they just won't provide a good service) if anyone is interested in giving mini services for free to promote themselves. like nail techs can do hand massages, estheticians can do paraffin dips, massage therapists can do chair massages, stylists can do a blow out. make sure the tech has business cards with their names so they can give it to the client and say, "if you enjoyed that service, please come back and see me and i'll give you 10% off your first service with me". you'll be surprised. i do free chair massages once a week for 2 hours and get a lot of new business this way.

another idea is to create a "last minute appt" e-mail list. i have people on a list and whenever i have a cancellation or any openings in my day, i send them an e-mail first thing in the morning and let them know that i have the following openings and if they book a slot i'll give them 20% off. that works wonders!

finally, try doing an open house on the spas closed day. invite your regulars and have them bring a friend or 2. offer light ppetizers and refreshments. have the staff perform the mini services and talk to the potential clients. finally raffle off a GC (whatever amount you want), one for existing clients and one for the potential clients.

hope these tips help and good luck!!!

Wedding Planner: “Here's the deal. They'll let you have the wedding there, but on one condition.”
Broom: “Sure, anything. We really want to have it there.”
Wedding Planner: “Well see, there's a little bit of structural damage to the place that they didn't tell you about. And, well, there's this one pillar that's kinda weak, so you're going to have to…”]]>
