Rock Meets Addiction Recovery In a GOOD way
December 11, 2009 by Tucker
Electro-rock has always been more archaic, but that is changing. There is this really cool recovery rock I came across by Matt Soren recently that has a new twist on industrial music. His project is a mix of recovery rock and the story of knocking out addiction.
There are some song previews on his site at www.returnfrombroken.com. It sounds like they are temporary in lou of official mixes. They sound really good to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to see more industrial rock like this written specifically for addiction recovery in a more aggressive way from a person that has been there and is making an impact for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to see this type of rock coming from the industrial scene which is normally more rebellious in nature.
By the way, he has free mp3′s you can get from his url and more in his back extras page which is free. I also saw discount passes, wallpaper, and other things it looks like he’ll be adding. It will be nice to get the album once it is finished. That’s my two cents!
