Thank you for sharing this with us, I too have a child that has required a lot of services over the years and he will be 9 in February. It is amazing how much you grow to know the needs of the child even before they do and hopefully you can stop the event from happening before it does. We've worked so hard together and he is a different child today because of it. We will always have our moments and we will continue to need to work through his peaks and troughs as he gets older but I cherish his life and what he has brought to me. And on your note about the schools taking away the kids recess and ability to move is appalling, its one of the reasons we put our kids in the schools they are in, lots of time to move and PE everyday. Kids learn better when they can exercise their bodies.
You probably won't get out of the contract without paying fees even if the service is terrible.
But…when I've had lousy Comcast service, I call, they acknowledge the service level to me is low, and they credit my account. It took a lot of phone calls, but they will lower your bill every time you call and complain. I've generally had them cut the monthly bill by 1/3 to 1/2 by calling weekly and giving them date and time the lousy service occurred during the prior week.
