Lose Weight While You Sleep
January 1, 2009 by
You’ve tried those starvation diets – you know, the ones where you eat next to nothing for a few days. You might have noticed a bit of weight loss at the beginning but you gain it all back in no time at all. In fact, statistics show us that 90% of ALL diets fail. The reason is that the vast majority of diets are based on a faulty understanding of how your body works.
An ideal weight loss system is one which understands the functioning of the body and takes advantage of certain facts about metabolism, energy use, and the relationship between fat and muscle in the body. One revolutionary new weight loss system is called the collagen weight loss formulation because it helps you achieve weight loss in four unique ways that harmonize with the way the body functions. This system uses the following four principles to achieve weight loss:
1. You take in fewer calories just before you go to sleep.
2. You always try to have a deep restorative sleep where your metabolism works the correct way.
3. You rebuild lean muscle mass while you sleep with the appropriate supplements.
4. You keep your metabolic rate up both while you sleep and while you are awake so that you continue to burn fat throughout the day.
Here is a bit more information about each of these principles:
Do not eat before going to bed – Virtually all experts agree, DO NOT eat snacks or a big meal before you go to bed. Since when you sleep your metabolism slows down, all the calories will be turned directly into fat rather than being used by your body. With this little bit of discipline you will have started on the road to real and lasting weight loss.
Get a deep restorative sleep – Your body uses sleep to restore muscle mass that has been damaged or broken down during your waking hours so that you are revitalized and energized the following day. Studies have shown a link between obesity and the chronic lack of sleep. Giving your body the right amount of rest is important for keeping off excess weight in the form of fat.
Rebuilding lean muscle is key to weight loss – As most people age they begin to lose muscle mass. The same thing happens when a person goes on a binge or starvation diet. The outcome is just the opposite of what you expect. It actually results in a greater tendency to gain weight because with less muscle less energy is burned. Lose and Snooze provides your body with the necessary proteins to help in the building of lean muscle mass.
Sleep is also important to this process because a deep restorative sleep helps restore muscle mass. Of course exercise is also important. But even without vigorous exercise it is possible to burn fat and invigorate muscle and therefore lose weight where it really counts.
Keep you metabolism going – We all know how important it is to keep your body functioning properly. This also goes for the normal metabolism of food. After a couple of days on a starvation diet you metabolism slows down and you have less energy. As a result your body fewer calories. The weight loss supplement called Lose and Snooze contributes to muscle growth, and this, in turn, results in more calories being burned, and healthier, longer lasting weight loss.
Please note: You should always consult a medical doctor or other medical professional before taking any medical advice.

at its simplest, religion is anti-science. Science isn't necessarily anti-religion, as there could be a religion out there that shows evidence to support its 'beliefs' in how the Universe works, allowing its followers to make up their own minds… oh, hell no! We both know there are no religions like that! Religions exist like a parasite, primarily to support itself, allowing the reproduction of little parasites and secondarily, to exert enough control over its 'host' (heh heh… i LOL when i wrote that), to keep itself in control. You can't have the dog saying 'ow' and shaking off the flea, can you?

The new coalition is brave enough to suggest it's going to be 'the greenest government ever'. It is putting its own house in order by publishing the energy use of government buildings in real-time, so that people can see for themselves how the emissions reductions targets are being met. On the domestic scale, clients of SolarUK have certainly found that by having energy monitors along with their solar hot water systems they are more aware of energy use and so think twice before switching on unnecessary electrical appliances.

energy used in your home goes to heating and cooling, of course we use less energy, because we don't have to do as much heating and cooling of our homes.
I noticed Odopey never mentioned the energy used per capita before the energy-efficiency policies enacted in the 70's… but the implication is that it was more.
