Looking for the perfect web host?

With hundreds of website host companies in the market it can be hard if not impossible to know which web hosting company will provide a hosting solution at an reasonable price. When you have a domain name with a good web host, you can get reports on your site visitors and know which of your pages your customers are visiting most often, as well as being able to check out many other statistics.
Your hosting company will charge you a fee for each month of services that ranges from $5.99 or $9.99. Plan to pay between $75 and $150 for each year of your web hosting. There is always the option of free web hosting services, but you may experience bouts of server downtimes and you are likely to have limitations in the amount of storage, number of email addresses, FTP upload and so forth. You should just take a look at HostingTopList.com where there are current web host rankings of the most popular hosts.
Be sure the host can accommodate e-commerce, storefronts, blogs, forums, chats and anything else you may want to add onto your site. Try to figure out what your growth needs are and check that your web host will continue to serve you as your site grows. The last thing you want to do is change hosts mid way unless you absolutely have to do so. Make sure that your bandwidth can handle it, if your website grows rapidly, your visitors won’t have to wait to download or view info.
These are the things to look for in a web hosting company:
1. First-class Customer Support: Your web hosting provider needs to be there 24/7 and give you fast access to the technicians you need to help solve your problems. Ask them how long it takes for them to figure out the answer to your problems. An effective test is to call them in the middle of the night to see if you get a live, level of support.
2. A Sound Infrastructure: Check whether they do offer a multi-homed network that is powered by multiple bandwidth suppliers to ensure redundancy. Many offer a 100% warranty that covers its network availability or network uptime.
3. Financial Stability: If you’re running very critical operations, you can’t afford to be with a web hosting company that has only been in business for a little while.
If you’re are still confused by the jungle of hosting companies, check out the HostMonster rankings. They are my favorite at the moment. Good luck with all of your online adventures.

Oh, the irony…sometime within the last 10 years (I forget exactly when), Dale Marshall himself participated in (and I think even chaired, at a point) the FTAA Joint Government-Private Sector Committee of Experts on E-Commerce on behalf of Barbados…now he doesn't believe in the merits of e-commerce initiatives for Barbados' tourism product?!?!? You just have to shake your head in amazement, sometimes…

Hello campers. Did ya discover anything super-remarkable in your online adventures today?
The best thing to do would be to abolish most all of the agencies involved especially Commerce as they are unconstitutional and irrelevant. It should be up to COngress to regulate “interstate commerce” and not the executive branch. Also, as long as the states arent unfairly burdening commerce the congress has no business regulating commerce with complete intra-state interest.
LOL
Thanks for making me laugh on this site! I enjoyed this.
