My favorite guitar player is David Gilmour. I use to really like Hammett, but I think his solo's are just plain BAD lately. The first 4 Metallica albums, the lead work was awesome. I also like the last album from Machine Head. Those guitar players are pretty sick. Marty Friedman, in the Megadeth years was a favorite too.
