Landscape Tips Can Be A Excellent Way To Beautify Your Home
February 23, 2009 by
There are numerous venues out there where people can find great landscaping ideas. Where else would you start looking but the Internet. There might be millions of landscaping ideas websites in the Internet today. Many home owners may overlook the landscaping designs on their homes. Try to find landscaping chat rooms where people discuss their landscaping ideas and problems.
People actually use landscaping for more reasons than the most obvious. Water conservation is another reason why some may consider landscaping there property. Some landscaping ideas are based around water which will in some cases naturally preserve the garden. Finding the right landscape designs could be difficult. Some people may not know that if you get your landscaping just right you may be able to eliminate rodents near your home. Also, you may not know but proper landscaping can help in eliminating noise. If landscaping is done correctly, you may be able to increase the value of your property by leaps and bounds.
Landscape designs can not only add value to your home but to the properties around you as well. Seeing backyard landscape design ideas may make you change your back yard. People want to buy houses that look good inside and out. You want your house to be worth as much as possible so that you can have as much equity as possible. Landscaping your property is a good way to add value to your home as well as other homes in your area.
Landscaping designs are based on the architecture of your land. If you’d like to make your property look better as well as the neighborhood you live in, you may want to try landscaping.

Adjective:
Relating to or involving the imagination or original ideas…
Landscape Architects are generalists. They have to have an understanding of and the intellectual ability to "creatively" integrate:
1. Botany, Plant Science, Plant Identification (600-1000 plants), and Plant Propagation
2. Biology, Environmentalists, and Ecologists
3. Soil Science, Geology, and Chemistry (Soil Testing Lab Reports, Components of Soil – both Organic and Inorganic)
4. History of Art, Architecture, Design, Urban Design, Urban Planning, and Landscape Architecture
5. The Components of Design (focal points, repetition, contrast, color, etc.)
6. Structural and Civil Engineering
7. Writing and Public Speaking (specifications, proposals, grant requests, presentations to public agencies, speaking with clients)
8. Construction and Drafting (hand drafting and CAD)
9. Rendering and Illustration
10. 4D Imagination – the ability to not only envision space in three dimensions (length, width, and height), but also in the Fourth Dimension. The fourth dimension is time. One must be able to not only envision what a tree near a building will look like now, but how it will occupy the space in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years!
Interior Designers, based on my observation, creatively pull together furnishings within a three dimensional space. They need to have an understanding of:
1. History of Art, Architecture, Design, and Interior Design, Fabrics, Furniture
2. The Components of Design (focal points, repetition, contrast, color, etc.)
3. Architecture and Structural Engineering
4. Writing and Communications (specifications, proposals, speaking with clients)
5. Construction, Materials, and Drafting (hand drafting and CAD)
6. Rendering and Illustration
The job market for Landscape Architects is not good. However, a graduate degree could take you into teaching, research, and long-term planning. It could also open employment doors in Urban Planning, Architecture, Facility Planning, Short Term and Long Term Planning, Civil Engineering, Nursery Sales, Design/Build, and other environmental design-related jobs from private offices to parks and recreation to educational institutions.
So, have you revised your definition of "cre·a·tive?"
