I disagree with the Swiffer family of products. Of course, I also get on my hands and knees with 409 or bleach & paper towels. To each their own. I tried for a long time to like them, but they never took care of the messes of all my little ones (human & dogs) and my ONE big one.
I like your cleaning products. I would add (in the cleaning department) a really efficient carpet cleaner. You probably don't have a need for it, but I would be lost without one.
Hi Carrie! How are ya? Lavender is more for aroma, and it's also gentle on your skin. So, if you were to use this without gloves, I would say go with the lavender. Now, you could easily substitute tea tree AND tea tree would add an antibacterial element to the product. Good question about the powdered milk! I have not refrigerated it, and it seems fine. However, refrigerating would not hurt it at all (you might need to add a little water to the paste if it dries out a little.) When making homemade cleaning products, it's usually the ones with citrus juices (lemon, grapefruit) that require refrigeration. If you don't want to go that route, substitute vinegar for the lemon or grapefruit. The smell goes away when it is dried or rinsed. Hope all is well!
