The question is, do you really need to do this? A scan with a good antivirus program should get rid of any virus, spyware, trojan or other malicious software. You should not have to reinstall windows just to get rid of a virus. To get a good antivirus program, go to and look at the reviews and comparisons for leading antivirus programs. There are links to the various manufacturers sites so that you can download one of them and clean up your computer today. All of them do free trials (30 days or 15 days depending on which company) so you can try before you buy if you want to. You should try to clean your system this way before reinstalling Windows. I was an insurance salesman for about 5 years and I had to track several of the things that you listed. You could have gotten it for free all over the internet. The program isn't illegal, its the downloaded games that are illegal. Now I don't think you can legally download games from the internet. There are a million places to do it but if I am thinking correctly it is still basically stealing. When you download them, even if you buy the download, the game makers aren't getting paid for them. So you are basically guilty of theft by receiving. And since that is the case, you might as well just download them for free.
