i am an RN, used to work in a rehabilitation unit in a hospital, where we were a certified stroke center. to me, these symptoms are all sounding as if they may be a stroke: one-sided weakness/numbness/paralysis of the body, slurred or no speech, difficulty moving arms/legs on one side of the body, diffuculty finding the right words (aphasia), difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)…but seeing as he is 23, it may not be. 23 seems awfully young to have a stroke, but im sure it could happen. anyways i would refer him to a nurologist so the neurologist could make a positive diagnosis, whatever the cause may be.

"By analogy with phosphorus compounds" simply means that the polyatomic anion has the same structure and naming pattern as phosphorus anions. (phosphate, phosphite, etc.)

(PhysOrg.com) — The recent discovery that bisabolane, a member of the terpene class of chemical compounds used in fragrances and flavorings, holds high promise as a biosynthetic alternative to D2 diesel fuel has generated keen interest in the green energy community and the trucking industry. Now a second team of researchers with the U.S Department of Energy (DOE)’s Joint BioEnergy Institute (JBEI) has determined the three-dimensional crystal structure of a protein that is key to boosting the microbial-based production of bisabolane as an advanced biofuel.
